For working in high temperature high pressure circuits. An auxiliary accumulator is attached to the bellows dampener so the heat-resistant stainless steel bellows can’t be damaged by the, otherwise, high stretching required by the high pressure dampening. Thermal oil is used to transfer the pressure between the dampener and the auxiliary accumulator.

A bladder type auxiliary accumulator is used for working with a high temperature process liquid, while a PTFE membrane (resistant to a higher temperature) auxiliary  accumulator is used in case of  working with a very high  temperature (170 ºC to 200 ºC) process liquid.
