ACTIVE PULSATION DAMPER WITH AUTOMATIC AIR REGULATION
HIDRACAR’s active pulsation dampeners incorporate a valve that must be connected to a compressed air line. This valve automatically adjusts the internal pressure of the dampener, continuously adapting to the system’s operating conditions.

DESCRIPTION AND PERFORMANCE
The separator element in these dampeners, between the air and process liquid, is made of PTFE.
We have BELLOWS DAMPENERS (F-Series) and MEMBRANE DAMPENERS (M-Series) with automatic air regulation.
For bellows dampeners, we have sizes from 0.7 to 10 liters. The dampener bodies can be manufactured in either polypropylene or stainless steel, and the wetted parts can be made of AISI 316L, PP, PVC, PVDF or PTFE as required.
For membrane dampeners, we have sizes from 0.8 to 5.6 liters, available in either polypropylene or ASIS 316L. Unlike standard membrane models, these dampeners feature only a single PTFE membrane.
Our ACTIVE pulsation dampeners are designed for applications with variable working pressures, making them the ideal solution for AODD pumps.
The valve seals only move when the working pressure changes, ensuring a long service life. When seal replacement is needed, the dampener does not need to be removed from the system, simply will be necessary to extract the valve that regulates the air automatically.
The valve’s air port is connected to a special liquid retention valve, preventing liquid from escaping through the valve in case of bellows/membrane rupture.
These dampeners include a pressure gauge mounted in the top of the dampener to monitor system pressure and ensure correct operation.
